Adults

CELT offers a regular social programme including sport, excursions, cultural visits and other activities throughout the year in our adult centre, with at least one activity per week. Whether it be sampling the dishes at the Cardiff International Food Festival, a game of football in the park, or visiting a local tourist attraction, the social programme is a great way to meet new people and integrate into the local culture.

Our social activities are advertised on posters around the school and also on our social media. Please see our Instagram for more details. Although some activities are free, any events which require a coach and/or entrance tickets are not included in the course fees and have to be paid for separately.

Young Learners

We offer an attractive and educational social programme.

CELT offers an attractive and educational social programme with 4 afternoons of activities (including a half-day excursion) during the week and a full-day excursion on Saturdays. Before going on trips and visits, students are briefed to help them understand what they are going to see and do.

All activities detailed in the social programme are compulsory and are included in the course fees. On each activity, students are accompanied by our teachers and group leaders who carry a school mobile and have every student’s contact details to ensure safety.

Evening activities such as cinema visits, bowling, and international discos are also organised once a week during the summer.
