Bank Holiday Weekend in Cardiff

This weekend is a bank holiday weekend in the UK. What does this mean? Firstly, Monday is a day off! Secondly, there are lots of things to see and do around Cardiff…

Water fan? Head to the Bay to find Extreme Sailing! There is championship boat racing with lots of music and food as well. Also in the Bay, you can find the poppies exhibition which is being held by the National Assembly.

If you stay in the city centre, there is a 3-day open-air festival where there will be lots of entertainment, costumes, and fun!

So, lots to do this weekend in Cardiff. Drop in to reception if you need any help and remember to have fun everyone! 🙂

Summer is Coming!

Summer is coming CELTers! There’s lots to do in Cardiff…the stadium, the castle, museums, picnics in Bute Park, and shopping of course. If you are feeling adventurous, there are plenty of sites outside Cardiff too…St. Fagan’s, Big Pit, Brecon Beacons, and there are even some beaches! The CELT social programme should have you covered, but feel free to come and see us in reception to find out about more trips you can take during the summer!
