In early 2021, CELT was delighted to be chosen to work on the British Council / IATEFL / English UK PRELIM (Partnered Remote Language Improvement) project, in which we delivered 10 weeks of teacher development sessions for CABITA,  the English Teacher Association in Cameroon. This involved designing and delivering a programme for delivery to the course participants by mobile phone. As one of the participants wrote,

This course made me new. It was such an inspiring and great experience

Following up on its PRELIM success, CELT is now working on another fully online project to train a group of vocational teachers from the Emirates, this time to help with the delivery of vocational subjects like business and engineering in English.

CELT has been offering teacher training for a number of years but we are now recognised as a major provider, with our trainers also running webinars for Macmillan, Hueber in Germany and Gallery Teachers

Speaking about the recent medical english and teacher training innovations at CELT, Neil Harris, CELT’s Marketing Director, said

Right now, agents and schools are looking for ways to fight back after the pandemic and it makes sense to develop new products and open up new markets.

Here at CELT we believe that innovation is key, and that innovation must come with a quality label.

We are one of a handful of OET providers which have the highest level of recognition from OET itself as a Premium Provider for training doctors and nurses.

We are thrilled to be working with international partners for our teacher training courses and the PRELIM course was recognition of our ability to compete at the highest levels with the biggest teacher training providers in the world
