At CELT we understand that our students have different needs and reasons for studying English. This is why we offer a range of General English, Exam Preparation, Professional and Business English courses either in groups, or as one-to-one or combination (morning group and afternoon one-to-one) programmes.

If you need more information or would like to discuss the right course for you, contact us and we will be very happy to help.

General English

Learn English in a communicative way

Our most popular course is General English, where students learn and review new grammar and vocabulary using up-to-date coursebooks and materials. Students also develop the four key skill areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing through a teaching approach based on improving communicative abilities.

With small class sizes, students at CELT can be sure of receiving tuition which is suited to their individual needs. On top of this, long-term students (8+ weeks enrolment) also receive personal tutorials with their teacher on a termly basis to ensure students are kept informed about their progress and establish clear learning goals.

General English is available as a 15-hour per week course (Standard) in the mornings, or add on the afternoons to make a 23-hour per week course (Intensive). Alternatively, students can maximise linguistic progress by including a different afternoon course such as IELTS.

Students are required to pay a materials fee each term (see Price List) which entitles students to one course book per term. This is only applicable on adult courses. There is no charge for materials for afternoon lessons.
